The Form |
Tai Chi Chuan Animations
This Tai Chi Chuan form has not been watered down. We do
not adjust the Tai Chi principles to match the form, the form matches the principles. Our
shoulders and elbows are always low, chest is always hollowed, and chi sunk to the tan
tien.
|
This way, our vital
points are protected and we can issue a great deal of power. Anyone can do slow flowing
movements and feel relaxed and stress free, but if you do the form correctly, (as a
martial art, the way it was originally conceived), the postures are conducive to a greater
flow of energy and a much more profound sense of well being. By doing it as a
martial art, with intent, you move chi to your hands. This facilitates the ability to heal
as well. |
